Bed linen is provided, towels can be provided for a small surcharge of £3 person.
We operate smoke free zones in all the cottages and around the farm areas, we feel this is fair for everyone. The farm area is smoke free due to large amounts of hay/straw etc. The play and barbecue area can be smoked in but please be thoughtful of other non-smoking guests.
Well behaved family dogs are allowed by prior arrangement and are considered on an individual basis. Guide dogs of course are welcomed. There is an extra £10 fee per dog to cover extra cleaning duties
All services are covered by the holiday rental fee.
Each cottage has its own washing machine. There is a coin operated commercial dryer located in the laundry room.
There is plenty of parking available but we request that after unloading your belongings you park in the designated parking area for safety reasons.
There is limited disabled access to the cottages due to the nature of the buildings, however one of our cottages has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom which may be suitable.
The checkout time is 10am on Fridays, the check-in times are 4pm on Fridays.
There is a play/barbecue area too the front of the cottages, access is past the stable block, please be courteous toward the animals when passing.
The nearest Pub is in our village Waterhouses, it is approximately 1 mile away
The local pub caters for lunch and dinner, if you fancy restaurants there are plenty in the nearby towns of Leek and Ashbourne.
Alton towers is only 4 miles away
The Manifold Valley track begins in Waterhouses, it is less than a 10 minute walk, it can be cycled and walked on.
There is a small village shop in Waterhouses, it stocks most provisions needed for your stay. There are larger supermarkets in both Leek and Ashbourne.
Cots and highchairs are available on request, there are no charges for these but please make us aware of your requirements when booking.
